Our Story
Be the SALT was conceptualized in April of 2024 as a result of a fast. The founder was seeking a deeper connection and knowledge about her kingdom purpose. She always knew she was meant to serve and encourage people, even at an early age, but she just didn’t know what that would look like. She began asking the question, “what is my purpose?" The revelation of this business came from her study of the scripture Matthew 5:13-16.

Salt’s purpose is to preserve food, to prevent rot and decay. Be the SALT was created to protect the body of Christ from rot and decay. Our goal is to develop leaders and influencers who will shine light in dark places, illuminate their environment and be the Stars that Align and Lead the way Toward God’s glory!
Meet the Founder
Ariel Lee is the Founder and Lead Facilitator of Be the SALT, dedicated to serving the community with a kingdom mindset. Graduating magna cum laude from Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Women’s Studies, Ariel has developed a deep passion for helping people backed by extensive experience in customer and social services along with applied psychology and mental health. During her career, Ariel has held multiple leadership positions and acquired numerous certifications including that of a Qualified Mental Health Specialist. Committed to serving others with love, Ariel strives to create a positive environment leaving a lasting impression that promotes healthy growth and lifestyles. She is also a singer, songwriter, teacher, published author, and art enthusiast. Grateful for her many talents, Ariel believes they are meant to be shared rather than kept to herself. With this in mind, she has committed to making business her ministry and ministry her business.
